What has the PPEA-BC Accomplished?

For 15 years, the PPEA-BC has acted as a representative for industry sustainability and a liaison with government.

The PPEA-BC has provided a consistent forum for a common sense approach to environmental issues affecting plastics processors in BC.

The PPEA-BC is recognized as a good contributor to environmental progress in BC by government, environmental organizations and the plastics industry.

What is the PPEA-BC doing today?  

PPEA-BC maintains constant liaison with Provincial, Regional and Municipal Governments to advise and consult on proposed legislation, issues arising related to our industry and to provide technical information.

PPEA-BC monitors industry and governmental developments in other jurisdictions in Canada, U.S.A. and Europe.

PPEA-BC monitors activities in other organizations related to our industry and environmental issues in North America and Europe.

What is the future of the PPEA-BC?  

PPEA-BC takes pride in our ability to represent industry interests in a co-operative manner with government, industry and advocacy organizations.  We will continue to work with the industry, government and advocacy groups to develop sustainable solutions.
